OptiView, which is pre-installed on all Optix system computers, is a unique tool designed to manage and analyze data collected on the Optix system. Acquisition data includes TPSF or CW data from fluorescence experiments, as well as the camera capture and profile views of the specimen. Signal conditioning is applied automatically when acquisition files are opened in OptiView. OptiView offers TPSF viewing, the ability to perform multiple functions on the TPSF, and tools for removing background fluorescence and analyzing selections. Extensive parameter recovery capabilities, as well as tools that facilitate viewing fluorophore intensity, lifetime, as well as depth and concentration, are standard features. 3D reconstruction and CT fusion capabilities are available in the optional software modules. OptiView offers several data processing tasks and quantitative analysis functions for TD files generated from time-resolved fluorescence experiments. The options available for bioluminescence and continuous wave experiments are limited to viewing intensity image maps and applying the OptiView Image Tools to those intensity images. OptiView is pre-installed on all system computers, but can also be installed “off-line” on your own computer as an independent tool for image and data analysis. OptiView is simple to learn and easy to use, and offers unique workspace saving tools that allow you resume an analysis at any time and to share your findings, task customization tools to streamline repetitive operations, and sophisticated software algorithms that can remove autofluorescence for improved signal-to-noise and signal-to-background ratios and superior detection.
